About Us

The Bismarck Air Museum Foundation

In 2012, local aviation enthusiasts began formulating a plan to save Hangar #5 and repurpose it as a museum. The first step in the Bismarck Air Museum Foundation’s ambitious agenda is to secure private, state and federal funding to move the building and restore its structural integrity.

From there, the future of Hangar #5 is as boundless as the foundation members’ commitment to making the facility an integral part of our vibrant community and the surrounding region.
